Weber Retreat and Conference Center’s monthly Lunch and Learn series will offer participants some practical advice on finances – as well as tips on different ways that people can enjoy some leisure time this summer. All are invited to bring a lunch and enjoy the beverages and desserts provided by Weber Center during the 12:15 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. sessions.
Topics for the summer series are as follows:
- Tuesday, May 8, 2018: Kyrie Bristle and Eric Gable, staff members of the Croswell Opera House, speak on “Summer Cultural Activities in Lenawee County and the Surrounding Area.”
- Tuesday, June 12, 2018: “Best Summer Reads” is presented by a representative of the Adrian District Library. Come and share your own favorite books.
- Tuesday, July 10, 2018: A representative of the First Federal Bank in Adrian offers “Investments 101: Do’s and Don’ts for First Time Investors”
- Tuesday, August 14, 2018: Storyteller Jan McVeigh presents stories of Lenawee County’s early history.
Lunch and Learn is a free program, open to all. Registration is not required. Weber Center is on the campus of the Adrian Dominican Sisters’ Motherhouse, 1257 E. Siena Heights Drive, Adrian.
