Meet the New Weber Center Shop Manager

The Weber Center welcomes Katherine Dusseau as the new Weber Center Shop manager.

Katherine is originally from Illinois and graduated from Bradley University. She first worked as a buyer and a manager for Kline Brothers in Monroe, Michigan, and then moved to Iowa to work for Von Maur as a buyer. Katherine came back to Michigan to work for Jacobson’s department store, married her husband, and started her family; she has two children, Sarah and Michael. Before she came to the Weber Center Shop she held a sales position at Yaeger’s Shoes for 12 years and also worked at HomeGoods in Toledo, Ohio.

As of October 23, Katherine is working full time at the Weber Center Shop. “I’m excited to work in such a spiritually enriching atmosphere,” said Katherine. Sister Janet Doyle, OP, Director of the Weber Center, added, “We are delighted to find such a quality person who has extensive retail background.” The staff of the Weber Center is thrilled to have Katherine as part of the team and looks forward to seeing the great things she will do for the Weber Center Shop.

The Weber Center Shop is now back to its regular hours, 9:30 a.m. through 4:30 p.m., Wednesday through Saturday. Stop in to meet Katherine and browse!

The shop is located in the Weber Retreat and Conference Center, which is on the Motherhouse campus of the Adrian Dominican Sisters, 1257 E. Siena Heights Drive. Enter the eastern-most driveway of the complex and follow the signs to Weber Center. You can also visit the online shop any time at webercenter.org/online-shop.
