Monthly Mindfulness Meditations

Join our mindfulness community as we work to deepen our understanding and commitment to daily meditation practice. Reflecting upon our relationships with honesty and courage, we amp up our capacity to be love within family, neighborhood, city, and world.

A monthly group session of mindfulness meditation takes place at Weber Center, led by Esther Kennedy, OP, a retreat leader and spiritual director.

Sessions are on Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and include lunch. The cost for each session is $30 ($15 for Adrian Dominican Sisters) and registration is required.

The upcoming schedule and themes are:

The Gift of Silence
January 12, 2019
When we hastily run from one thing to another, we stifle joy and happiness. Mindfulness helps us to cultivate the calm and to experience silence as a warm embrace.

Being Silent Together
February 16, 2019
Meditating with a community — silent together with only our breath moving in through us — can be a most poignant experience.

Opening Your Wise Heart
March 16, 2019
Wisdom may be that which we gain as we take our journey of coming home to our truest nature —
which ultimately is love.

Suffering at the Heart of Life
April 13, 2019
Suffering embraced is a doorway into birthing a new consciousness and greater wholeness.
