Stepping Toward the Future in the Time of Coronavirus
Living in this coronavirus time makes many people want to hop, skip, and jump to anywhere but the here and now! The truth is, the only way out is through. Our challenge is to lean into the present moment, even when we want to run away.
Weber Retreat and Conference Center invites you to join Joan Ebbitt, LMSW, for a free, four-part weekly series called “Stepping Toward the Future in the Time of Coronavirus.” Joan is an Adrian Dominican Associate and one of Weber Center’s spiritual directors.
Joan will examine the supportive spirituality of the first three Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous and reflect on how they can help with the daunting sense of powerlessness many are feeling right now.
Joan is providing these 30-minute sessions live via Zoom to Adrian Dominican Sisters and Associates on Tuesdays starting May 26, 2020. The sessions will be recorded and posted on the Weber Center website for the general public to view the next day. No registration is necessary.
“Surviving this pandemic means continually taking steps to recover from the depths of physical, emotional and spiritual pain we currently experience,” Joan notes.
To access the series recordings, visit webercenter.org/stepping-toward beginning May 27, 2020.
NOTE: A power outage on June 9 interfered with Part 3 of Joan’s series. She will rebroadcast Part 3 on June 16 (will be posted June 17) and the final installment will be recorded on June 23 (will be posted June 24). Thank you!
