10:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. ET
Description
The famous Vietnamese Buddhist monk, peace activist, author, poet, and teacher Thich Nhat Hanh died on January 22, 2022. Known as “Thay” to his followers, his great teaching was his extraordinary life of courage, peace, and wisdom. Ever attentive to the incredible suffering, cruelty, violence and injustice in our world, Thay called us to mindful living.
This day will include story, meditation, imagination, and a big dose of joy and gratitude. We will breathe and smile our way through the day in the companionship of one another.

Presenter
Sister Esther Kennedy, OP, is an Adrian Dominican Sister and a retreat leader and spiritual director. She leads a monthly Day of Mindfulness at Weber Center.
