Center history
Weber Retreat & Conference Center opened to the public in 1970 as a place for retreats, counseling, conferences, and workshops. Today it also hosts events such as film screenings, art shows, meditation sessions, and nonprofit meetings.

The building originally served as a novitiate where women discerned whether to become vowed members of the Adrian Dominican Sisters.
Dominican mission
Today, Weber Center continues in its Dominican mission of spiritual discernment, study, engagement and contemplation with a genuine spirit of hospitality. The modernized meeting spaces and guestrooms offer a wonderful place of retreat for people from all faith traditions.
Ministry of the Adrian Dominican Sisters
Weber Retreat & Conference Center is a ministry of the Adrian Dominican Sisters, a congregation of more than 600 vowed women religious and 200 Associates. Sisters minister in 22 states and four countries: the Dominican Republic, the Philippines, Mexico, and Norway. In all of our ministries—education, health care, pastoral and retreat ministry, the arts, social work, ecology, and peace and justice advocacy—we strive to live out our Vision: to seek truth, make peace, reverence life.
