About spiritual direction
Spiritual direction involves a relationship in which one person assists another to recognize the presence of God in her/his life, to grow in intimacy with God, to express and develop that experience, and to make a deeper response to God and others in the context of her/his life and prayer.
Spiritual direction is NOT counseling, therapy, or financial advice. A spiritual director is not a guru with all the answers, but rather an experienced companion in exploring the spiritual questions of your heart.
